This role sits within Technology – Engineering & Systems Integration – Technology Analysis – Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions; supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives.
  • Maintain billable client charging, lead delivery streams, manage projects, and engage with external clients daily. Travel may be required based on client needs.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or work streams; initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, workflow documentation, and functional design; translate needs into business solutions and complete configuration and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills in developing solutions for complex problems.
  • Modify policies and establish procedures within the scope of work; exercise judgment in selecting methods and criteria for results.
  • Functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks.
Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience working with SAP Controlling with focus on Product Costing, including exposure to Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order production strategies; deep knowledge of Overhead Cost Accounting, Integrated Financial Planning, Margin Analysis, Universal Allocations; proficiency in integration points with MM, PP, and FI; exposure to other FICO modules preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  • Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based teams; experience with hybrid onshore/offshore delivery is desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of cost accounting processes and ability to understand and deliver complex reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of Product Costing leading practices and familiarity with parallel ledgers and other international costing requirements.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Prior consulting industry experience.
  • SAP Certification(s), including P_S4

    FIN SAP Certified Professional - Financials in SAP S/4

    HANA for SAP ERP Finance Experts.
  • Experience with at least three full cycle implementations of your core module.
  • Additional SAP Finance certificates are a plus.
  • Prior industry experience in accounting department; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision-making.
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with a base salary range of $142,600 to $261,500 (and $171,200 to $297,200 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California, excluding Sacramento). Salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography;
    Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options.
  • Hybrid work model: most client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time.
