Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, Principal Engineers, and Developers in an Agile environment.
- Design, develop, and review test strategies and test cases for various applications.
- Analyze new features and change requests to assess testing scope and needs.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help define best testing practices within the team.
- Oversee bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation, and release validation activities.
- Perform functional design analysis, workflow analysis, use case analysis, and data/process modeling to support software quality.
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including test planning, defect analysis, test strategy creation, QA/UAT coordination.
- Create reports and analyze data to provide accurate test summaries and quality metrics.
- Continuously analyze and improve QA/testing processes.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Java, GIT/Git Hub, SQL, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with UI and Services testing.
- Agile/Scrum team experience; strong collaboration with development and automation teams.
- Proficiency in test case management, defect tracking, and working with tools like Jira (and associated plugins).
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, API Testing, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP.
- Ability to independently drive projects with minimal and evolving requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or coding languages as needed.
- Experience developing test automation utilities and supporting QA automation efforts.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven team player with the ability to collaborate across teams seamlessly.
