The WMS Technical Architect/ Director of Supply Chain Management is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving CSCS LLC’s supply chain technology practice, overseeing the successful delivery of end-to-end supply chain solutions for clients, and leading innovation within the domain. This position requires deep expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP integrations, supply chain technology platforms, and global supply chain best practices.

The role bridges information technology and supply chain operations, driving efficiency, scalability, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Practice Development

Define, lead, and continuously evolve the strategic roadmap for CSCS LLC’s Supply Chain Technology Practice.

Align practice initiatives with emerging technologies, industry trends, and business growth opportunities.

Oversee the development of proprietary methodologies, accelerators, and tools to support supply chain transformation.

Solution Architecture & Technology Oversight

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of supply chain technology solutions including WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SOFTEON), OMS, LMS, and automation platforms.

Oversee enterprise integration strategies with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and analytics platforms.

Ensure the alignment of technology solutions with client business objectives.

Project Management & Governance

Oversee global supply chain program delivery ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.

Establish governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence across complex supply chain engagements.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

Drive supply chain innovation by identifying emerging technologies and incorporating best practices into solutions.

Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital through white papers, case studies, and participation in industry forums.

Client Engagement & Business Development

Serve as a senior advisor to clients on supply chain technology strategies and transformation initiatives.

Support pre-sales efforts through solution presentations, proposals, and client workshops.

Team Development & Knowledge Management

Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing global supply chain teams.

Develop training programs and knowledge-sharing mechanisms to foster domain expertise in WMS and related technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

MBA or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management (preferred or pursuing).

Experience

Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, technology solutions, or IT services.

At least 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing supply chain technology implementations and global programs.

Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP integration, and supply chain optimization technologies.

Deep understanding of supply chain processes, systems architecture, and technology platforms.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to lead global teams.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

Proficiency in supply chain analytics, reporting, and performance management tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
