Overview

The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting Evans General Contractors, LLC (Evans)
talent acquisition, onboarding and training processes. This position will be responsible for drafting and submitting offer letters to candidates, coordinating and running background checks, managing the hiring of new employees, and overseeing all aspects of onboarding and coordinating initial training. This position will be on-site in Alpharetta, GA
.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and submit offer letters to prospective employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct thorough background investigations, maintaining strict compliance with Evans’ internal guidelines and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the hiring process for new employees, from acceptance through onboarding.
  • Enters all new hire information in the HRIS system, including personal, employment, pay, and benefits information.
  • Oversee and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition into Evans.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of initial training for new hires.
  • Work collaboratively within the HR Team and with other departments to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Address and resolve HR-related inquiries from employees.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least four years of related experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive and positive attitude, and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
