Position Summary

The recruiter at Krause Auto Group is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across dealership and corporate operations in a fast‑paced, multi‑state automotive environment. This role partners closely with dealership leadership and corporate teams to deliver a positive candidate experience while ensuring hiring needs are met efficiently and in alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for dealership and corporate positions, including sales, service, technician, administrative, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring timelines.
  • Post job openings across multiple platforms (Indeed, Linked In, internal career sites, etc.)
  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate in‑person or virtual interviews.
  • Extend and manage offers of employment in coordination with hr and leadership.
  • Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate applicant data in the ATS.
  • Support onboarding by coordinating pre‑employment requirements and start dates.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and company hiring policies.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Hireology or comparable applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online recruiting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Professional, confidential, and customer‑service–oriented approach.
Work Environment & Expectations
  • Hybrid environment
  • Occasional travel to dealership locations may be required.
  • Flexibility to support hiring needs during peak recruiting periods.
