Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

We are pleased to announce that one of the companies with which we partner in the Alpharetta, GA area is expanding and is looking to hire a Controller.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting (ideally from public accounting), and ability to work cross functionally and communicate at a high level with business and executive leaders.

Staff management experience, along with full financial statement prep experience and an active CPA, are required.

• Coordinate all financial statement and management reports on a timely basis.
• Coordinate U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting to ensure the timely, accurate completion of financial reports for all required filings.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management on a quarterly, monthly and annual basis.
• Stay abreast of financial reporting and regulatory developments which can impact the company and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Perform advanced problem solving and complex analysis.
• Assist with the coordination of the annual budget process.
• Organize and manage projects to completion.
• Establish, modify, document, and implement reporting processes and control procedures.
• Drive a performance-based culture and function as a business partner to the executive team, operational leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Management of the accounting team, ensuring completion of assigned duties and reporting responsibilities, coaching, objective setting, feedback, appraisals and development planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years' accounting/audit experience.
• CPA is required.
• Current managerial experience is required.
