As the Senior Director, Product for Debt Management & Post-Close, you will lead the evolution of products that support financial institutions after a loan has been funded. While much of the industry focuses solely on the point of origination, you will own the strategy for the long-tail of the lending journey—focusing on account management, portfolio health, and debt recovery services powered by The Work Number®.
WhatYou’ll Do
Strategic Growth:
Own the roadmap for the Debt Management vertical and the broader "Post-Close" lending ecosystem. You will identify market trends and customer pain points to expand our footprint in account review and collections.Portfolio Intelligence:
Drive the vision for our batch-delivery channel, ensuring our data insights are integrated into the recurring workflows lenders use to monitor risk and manage existing portfolios.Lifecycle Innovation:
Identify opportunities to "shift right" in the lending lifecycle, developing solutions that provide continuous value from the moment a loan is closed through its entire duration.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a bridge between internal business units, partnering with data and analytics teams to create integrated solutions that combine employment and income data with broader credit insights.Customer Advocacy:
Act as the subject matter expert for post-close lending, engaging with key clients to understand how automated data insights can replace manual processes in their portfolio management and recovery operations.
Lending & Credit Expertise: 7-10 years of product management experience required, preferably within Financial Services, Fintech, or Credit Risk. A deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for debt management or collections is a significant plus.
Bachelor's degree
Data Channel Proficiency:
Experience managing products delivered via batch processing or large-scale data integrations. You understand how to productize high-volume data for institutional clients.Influence without Authority:
Proven track record of driving complex product initiatives in a matrixed environment. You know how to align stakeholders across sales, technology, and data science to execute a vision.Product Lifecycle Management:
Demonstrated ability to take a product from initial concept through market launch and into the scaling phase.
Collections Technology Background:
Direct experience building or managing platforms used for debt recovery, garnishment, or loss mitigation.Portfolio
Risk Management:
Experience developing tools used for Credit Line Increases (CLI), retention strategies, or proactive risk monitoring.Strategic Integration:
Success in "bundling" disparate data assets to create a more comprehensive view of the consumer for the lender.
