Corporate Controls Specialist
As a Corporate Controls Specialist with HVMG, you'll play a critical role in the Corporate Finance & Accounting Team. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including managing corporate Finance & Accounting improvement projects, managing vendor processes, supporting accounts payable and treasury, and managing the internal control process.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Manage and Participate in the Accounts Payable Automation Project
- Vendor Management
- Oversee Vendor set up process and Clean up the Vendor Master File
- Establish efficient process to onboard and off board vendors into the A/P system at the transitions.
- Vendor Compliance
- A/P Review
- Project Manage and Participate in the Procurement Process Optimization Project.
- Ensure Treasury Controls through weekly processing of posipay files, review & clear daily processing of banking exceptions, and serve as back-upto support the corporate treasury process.
- Manage the Internal Audit Process
- Support Corporate Finance & Accounting with document standard operating procedures
- Participate In and/or Lead other improvement projects for corporate finance and accounting, as needed.
- Project Management Experience
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Profit Sword Suite, Ottimate, Plate
IQ, and Hotel Effectiveness. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure of Change Management and ability to influence stakeholders when not in a role of positional authority.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, Required.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 Years in a Corporate Accounting, A/P, and/or treasury experience, Preferred.
- Project Management Experience, Highly Preferred.
- Hospitality Industry Experience at either Corporate/Regional Level or On-Site, Preferred.
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
