Senior Finance Analyst – Commercial FP&A

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst – Commercial FP&A. We’re looking for a motivated and forward‑thinking individual to take ownership of commercial financial reporting, analysis, and strategy within our dynamic team. With a sharp eye for detail, you’ll challenge the status quo, ensuring reporting aligns with strategic goals and delivers real value.

You’ll present data in a compelling way, enabling better decision‑making, and bring expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Staying ahead of best practices and industry innovations, you’ll help us maintain our position at the forefront of financial analysis, driving profitability and supporting leaders across finance, sales, and operations. This role reports to the Sr Manager, FP&A.

• Align commercial reporting with the strategic priorities of the Industrial Solutions and Paper & Packaging business units to support data‑driven decisions and improve profitability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide financial modelling for new and existing business opportunities.
• Ensure sales budgets, forecasts, and functional costs are accurately completed within agreed timelines.
• Create clear and impactful presentations that effectively communicate key insights into commercial performance, enabling informed decision‑making.
• Report, explain and challenge the margin analysis for the Commercial business.
• Act as the key finance contact for Commercial strategies, including modelling schemes, setting targets, and ensuring accurate payments to motivate and engage the salesforce.
• Introduce and drive automation for ongoing reporting and analysis to better serve Commercial and Leadership teams.

• Extensive previous commercial analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Exposure to operational financial environment.
• Experience with ERPs (Oracle, SAP, or LN).
• Experience dealing directly with senior executives and presenting complex issues to senior management.
• Experience gained within large/complex organisations and understanding of complex financial structures.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills to enable the preparation of communications, reports, training materials and presentations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels up to executive and board level.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to differing situations.
• Must be highly motivated, with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with excellent prioritisation skills.
