Game Artist

Overview

Uses creativity and knowledge of Adobe Creative Applications (Illustrator & Photoshop) to develop original reproducible artwork for lottery products, including printed instant scratch‑off games and terminal printed (Play Now™) games. Artwork related to game support deliverable items such as non‑ticket elements and non‑client program materials, including system and retail solution (SCiQ) products, may also be required.

• Instant Scratch‑off ticket design and production support
• Support elements for Instant Scratch‑off games

• Uses knowledge of production methods to develop production‑ready ticket artwork for scratch‑off tickets and other key lottery or non‑lottery projects.
• Works with Customer Service, Game Programming and Manufacturing personnel in the development and modification of artwork.
• May work with customers, advertising agencies and marketing personnel as necessary to develop artwork supporting lottery projects.

• Creates original game designs and non‑ticket art as assigned.
• Creates insert and POS artwork for instant games as required by account.
• Participates in new game generation and new product development as required, including the exploration and recommendation of innovative product ideas that help meet company goals and revenues.
• Participates in brainstorming sessions as assigned.

• Provides all deliverable files required to customers and vendors.
• Ensures all licensed image assets meet guidelines.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Works on defined tasks that sometimes require the application of independent judgment. Developing individual contributor.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

2 to 5 years of experience.
