Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. This company is a leading producer of outdoor LCD digital displays.

Expected Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

Job Requirements:•
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Master's Degree is a plus.

• Good work ethic.

• 2-10 years of design experience.

• Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication processes is a plus.

• Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus, but 3D CAD experience of some type is required.

• Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, Femap are all a plus.
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:

• Areas of focus for the Mechanical Engineer are concept creation, mechanical design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, design for manufacturability and serviceability, BOM creation, manufacturing support & sustaining engineering.
• The Mechanical Engineer works in close collaboration with other engineers (electrical, optical, systems, software, industrial), program managers, manufacturing associates and executive staff to deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules.
• The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, taking full advantage of a wide array of fabrication and manufacturing capabilities existing under one roof.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 4:00p
