Your role at Clorox:
At Clorox, we believe people do their best work when they can make a meaningful impact. As a Senior Packaging Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering packaging system capabilities that enable innovation, efficiency, and growth across our manufacturing network.
In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to lead capital projects—from concept through start-up—while driving safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This position requires 30–50% travel based on project needs.
ResponsibilitiesLead the design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of packaging systems for new products, upgrades, and capacity improvements.
Manage medium-scale capital projects
, including scope definition, schedule, budget, and resource planning.Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
Apply Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Early Management principles to optimize performance and reliability.
Identify and deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and sustainability initiatives
.Ensure projects meet safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards
.Evaluate and manage external vendors, consultants, and equipment suppliers.
Analyze performance data and solve complex technical problems using a structured, data-driven approach.
Coach and support plant teams to build technical capability and drive long-term results.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering field
5+ years of engineering experience
, including capital project executionExperience managing project scope, timelines, and budgets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to drive results and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environments
Background in Operations and/or staff engineering roles
Knowledge of CI / Lean / TPM methodologies
Experience with
SAP and Microsoft Office toolsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and provide salary ranges. The ranges reflect the competitive market and may vary by location. Zone ranges for the U.S. are:
Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900
Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100
Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300
