Network SME Engineer (CCIE Certified)

Location: Hybrid Alpharetta, GA or New York City, NY (3 days onsite, local candidates only)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

The client is seeking a senior Network SME with an active CCIE Lab certification to design, troubleshoot, and support complex enterprise, data center, and cloud networks. The role demands deep hands‑on expertise in IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, and migrations, with the ability to lead solution design and testing in a hybrid onsite environment.

• Local only in New York City or Atlanta, GA for onsite client evaluation.
• MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE CCIE LAB CERTIFICATION (true CCIE lab cert will have numbers at the end).
• Ensure candidates are interested in this role and will go onsite if selected for the client evaluation.
• 10–12+ years of senior network engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, IPv4 / IPv

• Deep hands‑on experience with BGP, OSPF, STP, Multicast.
• Experience with Cisco & Arista network platforms.
• Hands‑on with ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K.
• Overlay technologies: IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN.
• Multicast protocols: IGMP v2/v3, PIM, RP Anycast.
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS, DHCP.
• Cloud networking exposure.
• Ansible experience is a strong plus.
• Cabling & optics: 10G 100G.
