As part of a larger franchise system operating for 35 years, The Goddard School is the premiere spot for early childhood learning for children from six weeks to six years old. We have over 600 franchised schools serving more than 75,000 students in 37 states and Washington D.C. The Goddard School uses the most current academically endorsed methods to ensure children have fun while learning the skills they need for long‑term success.
All Goddard Schools are held to high standards of education, care, and safety and are proudly accredited by Cognia and the Partnership for 21st Century Learning.
Our on‑site owner and operator, Jenna Ellis, is on‑site daily and active in all aspects of Goddard Windward. She is a former public school teacher turned preschool teacher who transitioned into management due to noticing a lack of support for teachers by teachers in Early Childhood Education leadership teams. Here at Goddard Windward, we are a teacher‑focused school. The school has won numerous awards (including Best Preschool in Alpharetta for years) based on our teaching teams, leadership team, and community involvement.
Jenna has been with Goddard Windward since 2013 and both of her children are graduates. She brought her husband, Zach, on board in 2019 creating a truly family‑run and family‑focused environment that allows our teachers to be supported.
Each Goddard School location is privately owned and operated by Franchisor LLC franchisees. The Goddard School franchise owner(s) are the employers at each school, and the franchise owner(s) set their own wage and benefit programs, which vary by location.
