Overview
Giving Children a Chance (GCAC) of Georgia is seeking a Foster Child Case Manager to provide relationship-based, high-quality case management for children in foster care. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration, advocacy, and meaningful work that truly makes a difference.
Responsibilities- Develop and oversee individualized plans of care
- Provide ongoing case management and placement supervision
- Collaborate with DFCS, foster parents, biological families, providers, schools, and courts
- Monitor child development, mental health, and placement stability
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child & Family Development, Human Services, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant case management experience
- Strong knowledge of child development and child/adolescent mental health
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children and families
- Relationship-centered case management
- Supportive, collaborative team environment
