FI is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive in the Alternative Finance vertical. This role combines full-cycle enterprise sales with vertical-specific execution and collaboration.
The Senior Sales Executive will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for new revenue generation, solution positioning, and account expansion within the STL market. This individual will work in close partnership with the VP, Head of Alternative Finance, who owns vertical strategy and playbook development. This is a high-impact role for a strategic seller who can navigate complex sales cycles, deeply understand the STL ecosystem, and execute with discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Execute against the vertical-defined ICP, value propositions and competitive stance through full-cycle sales: prospecting – solutioning – negotiating – closing – expanding.
- Carry out STL specific sales plays, messaging, and pricing/packaging guidance.
- Achieve and exceed assigned quota for the STL vertical.
- Develop deep understanding of Validi
FI products and how they solve risk, fraud, and payment challenges specific to Short-Term Lending and Alternative Finance. - Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with strong forecast accuracy.
- Sales, Business Development, and Account Management skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales and presenting product/service solutions
- Demonstrated success selling into Short-Term Lending, Alternative Finance, specialty finance, or adjacent lending markets.
- Strong knowledge of payments, bank account data, fraud/risk mitigation solutions, or financial technology.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly data-driven, organized, and accountable; rigorous with CRM and pipeline management.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
