Ansell is looking for a Regional Category Leader – Chemical (Americas) to join our team in Querétaro, Mexico, Santo Andre, Brazil OR any US Hub location (NJ, GA, NV, TX).

What you will do

In this position you will play a vital role owning and leading the Americas Chemical portfolio, driving profitable growth through strategic portfolio management, pricing leadership, and strong commercial execution. This role partners closely with Global Category, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to commercialize innovation, optimize the product lifecycle, and strengthen Ansell’s competitive position across North America and Latin America.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the Americas Chemical portfolio strategy, aligned with global category direction.
  • Drive market share, revenue, profit, and volume growth in partnership with Commercial teams.
  • Lead regional product lifecycle management including launches, rationalization, transfers, and brand vs. OEM strategies.
  • Define and execute regional pricing strategy based on competitive dynamics and customer willingness to pay.
  • Partner with Global Category teams to commercialize innovation and activate regional initiatives.
  • Lead VOC consolidation to inform portfolio optimization and new product development.
  • Support commercial execution through sales enablement, training, tenders, promotions, and pricing actions.
  • Facilitate regional NPD launches across marketing, pricing, forecasting, and inventory readiness.
  • Partner with S&OP and Supply teams to manage inventory, allocations, and reduce aging or obsolete stock.
  • Deliver portfolio reviews, competitive intelligence, and financial performance insights.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 direct reports (4 indirect).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (required).
  • MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product or portfolio management.
  • Experience in Chemical PPE or industrial products strongly preferred.
  • Proven strategic portfolio, pricing, and P&L management expertise.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluency in English required;
    Spanish and Portuguese a major plus.
