Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location:

Alpharetta, Georgia

Pay Range: $50,000 – $60,000

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
• Monitor customer account details for non‑payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies related to billing and payment
• Apply customer payments to the correct accounts and ensure accurate age reports
• Maintain customer records and update contact information as needed
• Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments using appropriate collection techniques
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment disputes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end accounts receivable reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers
• Can effectively navigate sales agreements and contracts
• Inventory data entry for month‑end reconciliation
