Staff Accountant

Description

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements monthly.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules as required.

Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Net Suite) and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
