Job Title: Project Accountant
Location: Onsite
- Alpharetta, GA
Schedule: 1st shift
Duration: contract with potential to hire

Ready to start strong in accounting? We’re hiring a motivated entry-level accountant for a hands-on, high-impact role in capital projects, billing, and fixed asset accounting. This is a rare opportunity to build foundational experience that opens doors to corporate finance, FP&A, or long-term accounting roles—fast.

What You’ll Do

Own the daily financials for capital and reimbursable projects, working closely with project managers and external partners

Prepare and track customer invoices tied to real contracts—gain billing and compliance experience

Process journal entries, reclasses, and fixed asset transactions from end to end

Support a 4-day month-end close and help drive timely, accurate reporting

Assist with reconciliations, audit prep, and internal controls

Help improve tools and systems, including testing upgrades to property/accounting systems

Interpret contracts and allocate costs for commercial and government-funded projects

What You Bring

1-2 years of accounting, finance, or billing experience (internships count!)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

Comfortable in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and familiar with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)

Great communicator with follow-through—you’ll coordinate across teams and with external billing partners

Detail-focused, accountable, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points For

• Experience with contract billing or third-party invoicing

Familiarity with government project accounting or cost allocation

Ability to interpret basic contract terms and billing clauses
