Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join our second shift. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the tangible results of their work. No prior experience in powder coating is required-just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. On-the-job training will be provided.
As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts to meet quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the production of durable, visually appealing equipment used across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating (cleaning, masking, etc.)
- Apply powder coating using spray equipment
- Operate ovens and other finishing equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of general manufacturing or production environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with safety practices in industrial settings
- Willingness to learn powder coating techniques and equipment operation
- Learn and apply powder coating processes through hands-on training
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Adapt to changing priorities and production needs
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
