Building Services Lead

AI JOBS is hiring for one of the global players in the building materials industry. We are seeking a Building Services Lead to manage and perform daily cleaning and sanitation operations across multiple industrial facilities at the Alpena Cement Plant.

This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment. The Building Services Lead will oversee a small team of technicians, manage schedules, monitor safety compliance, and execute a variety of industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks across designated plant areas.

• Lead and supervise a team of Building Services Technicians, providing training and daily guidance.
• Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure timely and effective coverage of all work areas.
• Monitor team performance, attendance, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Communicate with the Area Leader and other departments to align cleaning activities with plant operations.
• Perform hands‑on cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and dust control.
• Maintain restrooms, break areas, and high‑traffic zones.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• Manage safe use, storage, and inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Promote and uphold a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
