Civil Foreman

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of specialist civil engineering works across the Highlands, we are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Foreman to join our client, a well-established, privately owned and expanding contractor.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, leading from the front, and taking pride in delivering high‑quality work. You'll be part of a small, close‑knit team within a growing business, where your input will genuinely make a difference.

You will oversee day‑to‑day site operations across a range of specialist civil engineering projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and engineers, you'll ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

• Supervising site teams and subcontractors
• Maintaining strict health & safety standards
• Coordinating works to keep projects on track
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ensuring quality control with strong attention to detail
• Communicating effectively with engineers, management and clients

This is very much a site‑based role, and you must be prepared to be actively involved in day‑to‑day operations.

• Strong civil engineering background
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
• Valid CSCS Card
• Experience as a Foreman or Working Supervisor
• A head for detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Confident leading teams on site
• Practical, hands‑on approach
• Willingness to work across projects in the Highlands
