VP of IT

Position: Vice President of ITLocation: West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite) with Travel up to 30%
Compensation: $225, + annual bonus

Overview of the VP of IT Role:

The VP of IT leads the organization’s technology vision and drives modernization, standardization, and scalability across a multi‑site environment. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution in infrastructure, applications, security, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities of the VP of IT:

• Modernize legacy systems and implement scalable infrastructure.

• Lead integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, including systems, processes, and data.

• Standardize network operations, implement SD‑WAN, consolidate servers, and unify Active Directory environments.

• Strengthen cybersecurity, governance, and disaster recovery readiness.

• Oversee IT operations, project delivery, vendor partnerships, and budget management.

• Improve data architecture and establish a single source of truth.

• Build a collaborative IT culture and partner with business leaders.

Required Experience of the VP of IT:

• Leadership within organizations in the ~$500M–$1B revenue range.

• Managing large IT teams across multiple locations.

• Hands-on experience across infrastructure, networking, applications, cybersecurity, and data management.

• Background with ERP, WMS, transportation systems, CRM, and distribution/logistics environments.

• M&A integration experience.

Preferred Qualifications of the VP of IT:

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience with wholesale distribution or logistics.

• Experience with AI, warehouse automation, and modern integration platforms.

Work Environment

• 100% onsite role with flexibility for appointments.

• Travel up to 30% across U.S., Canada, and U.K. locations.
