Full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician opportunity to join a well established team in Central Michigan! With outpatient clinic housed out of My Michigan Medical Center Clare and deliveries at My Michigan Medical Center Alma, this opportunity offers variety to pursue areas of passion with a supportive team.
- Serving Gratiot, Isabella, Montcalm and other counties since 1955
- Mixture of both inpatient and outpatient coverage
- New Maternity Unit in 2022 and Robot coming in 2025
- Full range general OB/GYN practice with block time and practice procedure activity
- Teaching facility with a family medicine residency training program, medical student clinical rotations, nursing student rotations and state-of-the-art Simulation Center
- Call 1:4
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved Residency
Communities Served
Clare, the city and county, is a quiet, peaceful community with Irish heritage. Its both a welcome retreat and home. All year long the city is known as the Gateway to the North. Its a place where adventure and relaxation meet. Light industry and tourism form the business base. Both primary and secondary schools offer the closeness and support that only a small community can provide.
Mid-Michigan Community College in Harrison is just north of the city. Central Michigan University is just 15 minutes south of Clare in Mount Pleasant.
Alma provides small-town ambience with recreation, culture and fun! Alma is in the very center of Michigans Lower Peninsula. Less than an hour south is the state capital of Lansing, home of Michigan State University with its Big 10 sports. The medium-sized cities of Grand Rapids and Saginaw are almost as close. A short drive north you will find the renowned scenic beauty of the Lake Michigan and Lake Huron shorelines.
Compensation
Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Benefits include:
