ICT Senior System Engineer​/System Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ICT system architectures and their implementation
• Further develop our hybrid IT system landscape (OnPrem & Cloud) and support the definition of standards, guidelines, and strategic topics
• Identify areas for optimization and further develop automated solutions
• Ensure a stable and high-performance server infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and providing 2nd-/3rd-level support for server infrastructure
• Manage and optimize storage solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Preparing decision-making bases for the architecture board and leading the architecture board

Hard skills

• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge in administration and configuration of server environments
• At least 5 years of experience in the following areas:
  Automation solutions, backup solutions (Veeam) Windows operating systems (Windows Server) and their administration and security, Linux is an advantage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Entra  Microsoft Azure
• Basic understanding of network architectures, VPN, and security concepts
• Proficiency in both German and English is required
