Venatu Automotive Group Truck & Bus are recruiting an experienced PSV / HGV Technician to join a well-established operation in Clackmannanshire. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a skilled technician looking for stability, strong earning potential, and a supportive working environment.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday Day Shift
• 40 hours per week
• £45,760 basic salary
• Overtime available
• Flexible start times

The Role

As a PSV / HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet to the highest safety, legal, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and inspections on PSV, HGV, and van fleets
• Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete inspection reports, defect sheets, and audit documentation
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure full regulatory compliance
• Attend roadside breakdowns when required
• Use modern diagnostic equipment (full training provided)

What We re Looking For

• Recent, hands-on experience in a PSV, HGV, bus, or fleet workshop
• Apprentice-trained with NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or HGV Mechanics
  (Time-served technicians also encouraged to apply)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• A professional, reliable, and team-focused approach
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
