As an Inpatient OB RN, you will:
- Provide care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP)
- Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and support C‑sections
- Administer medications, including epidural and induction support
- Educate and support mothers on breastfeeding, postpartum care, and newborn needs
- Collaborate with providers, charge nurses, and a close-knit OB team
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
- Provide newborn assessments and initial stabilization
- Maintain a safe environment for mothers, infants, and families
