1st Shift Machine Maintenance Technician Needed in Allentown, PA!

Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Allentown, PA in their search for a Machine Maintenance Technician

• Pay Rate: $35-37/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
• Adjust, maintain, and repair hydraulic presses, band saws, motors, conveyors, and other production machinery
• Inspect, clean, grease, and troubleshoot equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Use power tools safely and effectively
• Conduct basic welding and operate a forklift as needed
• Diagnose and repair electrical components, wiring, and PLC-controlled systems
• Maintain accurate repair records and parts inventory
• Work safely with high and low voltage electrical systems
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Work independently and manage tasks efficiently

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including repair and maintenance
• Basic electrical knowledge: circuit boards, processors, wiring, and PLC systems
• Understanding of hydraulics and their maintenance
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
• Ability to visualize mechanical changes and patterns
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals; read tape measure to 1/8"
• Knowledge using Scissor Lift and Forklift
• Certified in Industrial Maintenance
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English (read, write, speak)
