Can you fix it? Yes, you can! We have the position for you! Devon House Senior Living is hiring a Part Time Maintenance Aide to assist our Maintenance Director with facility repairs and resident transportation!

Responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility. Provide residents with well-maintained building and grounds. The Maintenance Aide is responsible for minor repairs and upkeep throughout the building and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Director. Assisting with resident transportation requests Our goal is providing the best service possible; therefore, honoring resident requests is our specialty.

Essential Duties of Position

Aides in driving a 14-passenger bus of residents to and from outings.

Maintains the facility grounds and building exteriors on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.

Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and resemble equipment.

Performs routine preventative maintenance to resident rooms to ensure everything is in proper working order.

Assists in moving materials, supplies, equipment, etc.

Performs routine preventive maintenance on laundry equipment, heating and air conditioning units, ice machines, and other equipment as needed.

Ensures maintenance duties are performed according to manufacturer specifications.

Attends staff meetings and in-service education, as required.

Assists the Maintenance Director in resolving guest complaints.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License

Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.

The ability to meet minimum physical requirements to perform job duties.

The ability to multitask and prioritize daily work
