A growing manufacturing organization in Bucks County is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead the accounting function, strengthen internal controls, and own the month‑end close. This leader will work cross‑functionally with supply chain and procurement, providing financial oversight while ensuring accuracy in costing, reporting, and operational support. This is not an inventory‑heavy role
, but familiarity with inventory processes and working through issues alongside operations is important.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor and elevate accounting team performance
- Syteline ERP exposure is a major bonus
- Provide strong day‑to‑day leadership for the accounting team, including a Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor responsible for AR/AP.
- Develop, coach, and mentor staff; establish clear goals and accountability.
- Lead process improvements and create standardized policies and procedures to support scalable growth.
- Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to support inventory reviews
, SKU costing integrity, and issue resolution (note:
not an inventory-heavy role
, but collaboration is required).
- Maintain and analyze cost accounting data, including standard costs, variances, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Partner with operations to understand production trends, costing efficiency, and margin impact.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities with a manufacturing lens.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and documented workflows.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audit cycles.
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, and procurement on financial impacts of production, purchasing, and workflow changes.
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership; contribute to business planning and operational decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Experience supervising accounting teams (AR/AP oversight included).
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency with ERPs;
