Maintenance

Janitors are primary custodians of guest relations and satisfaction. The selected individual will ensure that the store maintains a clean and safe environment for guests across the sales floor, exterior areas, and shelf displays.

• Upon guest entry, acknowledge, greet, and engage guests promptly.
• Remove trash from all store floors and surrounding areas.
• Clear items from designated shelf areas, clean the decking, and return items to the shelves.
• Clean spills on the sales floor immediately; report any damage or safety hazards to management.
• Maintain clean and sanitary restroom facilities.
• Keep dining rooms clean where applicable.
• Assist at the front end during peak business hours.
• Help guests locate items when required.
• Perform additional duties as requested or required by management.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced yet controlled environment.
• Remain on feet during extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and push a large janitorial cart.
• Perform activities requiring bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking.
• Previous janitorial experience is beneficial but not required.
• Accept supervisory coaching regarding performance, work habits, and attitude.
• Function effectively as a team member and collaborate with others.
