Mechanical Quality Control Inspector Position requires candidates to be U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22

The Mechanical Quality Control Inspector is responsible for verifying detailed machined parts meet engineering drawing requirements. Shift time 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Perform precision measurements on machined parts while exercising an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T). Perform layout mechanical inspections from machine shops. Use calibrated hand tools and ring and plug gages and other standard measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface plates, and other mechanical measuring instruments. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, including customer and internal drawings.

Identify and document nonconformances as required.

Demonstrated ability to use hand tools like calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, CMM, Keyence and other measuring instruments. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Possess strong process-based skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of technical and computer skills with ability to navigate customer order database. Basic math (geometry) skills. Interface with engineering and manufacturing staff in resolving quality issues.

Strong time management skillset; detail oriented. Team player.

HS diploma or equivalent (college degree, a plus). Experience with quality control techniques. Experience with measuring SMIs (calipers, gauges, rulers, meters, height gages, and other measuring instruments). Minimum of 2 years of quality inspector experience.
