Overview

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY The Mobile/Site Supervisor position provides a vital link in the procurement of a safe quality blood product. Essential functions of the Mobile Site Supervisor are to assist in smooth and efficient donor flow, to determine donor acceptability, to perform sterile venipuncture for the collection of blood, provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures throughout the donation process.

• Assist in smooth and efficient donor flow.
• Determine donor acceptability.
• Perform sterile venipuncture for the collection of blood.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures throughout the donation process.
• Oversee and assign responsibilities/duties to collections staff.
• Involve in staff processes; interviews, discipline, performance reviews, hiring and terminations.
• Effectively and discreetly solve personnel and donor problems, address procedural or behavioral problems, and make verbal or written reports to management.
• Attend and/or complete annual leadership/development training resources and mentor/assist with on the job development of new hire employees, as well as subordinate staff.
• May participate in special projects or programs.
• Regular full-time attendance is required during operational hours.
