Position Purpose and Objectives
This position helps oversee the day to day operations of all Credit Union of Texas facilities and property operations. Assists in facility specification and design, construction management, and on-going facility maintenance. Assists in contractor and vendor selections and maintaining vendor relationships. Helps with event setups and moving of internal furniture and supplies.
Major Duties And Essential Functions- Demonstrate enthusiastic support of Credit Union of Texas mission, core values and long-term objectives.
- Help maintain all branch facilities as well as the Corporate office.
- Perform repairs and upgrades as required.
- Setup furniture/equipment for events and various department needs.
- Proactively look for new ways to improve workflows, empower employees, and create better work conditions.
- Support the specification, design, and construction of all new and existing facilities and be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all facilities.
- Assist with new and existing signage at corporate and all facilities.
- Maintain the safety, security, and maintenance of all locations and perform periodic inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and to maintain high safety and security standards.
- May serve on all or selected emergency facility alarm call lists and be available on 24 hour emergency alarm response teams.
- Negotiate some fixed asset acquisitions, maintenance, and service contracts. May function as procurement officer.
- Assist as an additional property management contact for building facilities maintenance and security at the Corporate office.
- Provide updates on work orders and project status.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Facility and equipment maintenance experience and personnel security experience.
The employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
EducationHigh School diploma or GED
ExperienceMinimum of two years real estate property maintenance management experience or equivalent facility maintenance/management experience.
