Job Description

We're seeking a Operations Support Analyst to join the CPS Hosting Operations team for a critical night shift role in Allen, TX. In this position, you'll serve as the eyes and ears of our 24/7 operations center, monitoring customer activity and internal applications to ensure seamless card processing operations for financial institutions nationwide. Your vigilance will directly impact thousands of ATM transactions and banking operations that occur every night.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the fintech industry or advance their technical support career. You'll work in a structured environment with clear procedures while developing valuable skills in systems monitoring, customer service, and operations management. You'll collaborate closely with the Operations Unit Manager and other shift team members, serving as the first line of defense for our clients' critical banking infrastructure.

This role exists because our financial institution clients depend on 24/7 monitoring to keep their card processing systems running smoothly and securely.

Please note: This is an onsite position requiring you to work the night shift (11pm-7am CST) with weekend days included. Training will occur during second shift (3pm-11pm) for approximately 90 days before transitioning to the permanent night shift schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor console and online systems including switch, servers, ATM transactions, reports, and batch processing activities 24/7
  • Respond to system alerts with appropriate actions and elevate issues following established protocols
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to financial institutions regarding system issues or notifications
  • Maintain accurate operating records, checklists, and procedures to ensure completion of all required functions
  • Utilize scripted instructions to perform routine processing functions and meet critical deadlines
  • Complete and review shift turnover logs to ensure seamless communication between shifts
  • Follow established security guidelines to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity
  • Contact the Operations Unit Manager for assistance when needed
  • May manage Windows Server environment and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Experience/Skills
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Help Desk or Technical Support roles
  • Availability to work 11pm-7am CST shift, including one or both weekend days
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to attend second shift (3pm-11pm) training for approximately 90 days
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with financial institution clients
  • Adaptability to handle multiple monitoring tasks simultaneously
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite applications
  • Unix operating system experience
  • Familiarity with SharePoint platforms
  • Experience with IBM Mainframe systems
  • Background in card processing or the banking/financial services industry
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in previous roles
  • Understanding of batch processing concepts and operations
  • Personal interest in financial technology or banking systems
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or associate degree in related field preferred but not required.

Pay & Benefits Summary
  • Hourly Rate: $20-22/hour (Contract period)
  • Conversion Salary: $42,000 annually upon successful conversion to permanent hire
  • Contract-to-Hire: Opportunity to transition to permanent full-time employee
