Position Summary
The Associate Healthcare Recruiter plays a critical role in supporting the full recruitment lifecycle for physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and healthcare operations professionals. This individual will proactively source, screen, and coordinate candidates while ensuring an efficient, compliant, and high-quality hiring experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment and is motivated to build strong relationships while delivering results.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
- Proactively source candidates through social media, Linked In, job boards, referrals, and industry networking.
- Develop candidate pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
- Conduct high-volume outreach via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess experience, licensure, certifications, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Verify credentials, work history, and references.
- Assist with provider onboarding, including credentialing and privileging coordination.
- Facilitate EMR training, facility onboarding, and compliance documentation.
- Track onboarding milestones to ensure timely start dates.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide updates on pipeline activity and hiring progress.
- Build long‑term relationships with providers and healthcare professionals.
- Meet daily and weekly outreach goals (calls, emails, submissions).
- Track recruiting activity within ATS/CRM systems.
- Support placement and hiring targets aligned with company growth objectives.
- Experience:
1+ year of recruiting experience preferred; healthcare staffing experience highly desirable. - Education:
High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems (Bullhorn experience a plus). - Communication:
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills. - Organization:
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Mindset:
Goal-driven, self‑motivated, resilient, and performance-oriented.
