Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and execution of all food and beverage operations at the Hilton Garden Inn Allen, with primary oversight of banquet operations, culinary execution, and service delivery. This role provides direct leadership to the Chef and all Food & Beverage team members, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance.

This position partners closely with hotel leadership to drive banquet success, elevate service standards, and align food and beverage operations with Hilton brand expectations and company goals.

What You’ll Do Leadership & Team Management
  • As a hands on position, you will be actively involved in daily operations of both banquet and restaurant operations.
  • Provide direct leadership to the chef, banquet team, and all F&B associates.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing food and beverage team.
  • Establish clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, and address performance issues as needed.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and service-driven culture.
Banquet & Event Operations
  • Oversee all banquet and event operations, including planning, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to ensure seamless execution of meetings, weddings, and special events.
  • Ensure banquet setups, service standards, and timelines meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Monitor staffing levels to align with event volume and service needs.
Food & Beverage Operations
  • Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage, and service standards.
  • Maintain compliance with Hilton brand standards, health regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Partner with culinary leadership to support menu development, quality control, and cost management.
Financial & Inventory Management
  • Manage food and beverage labor, food cost, and operating expenses to meet budgeted goals.
  • Review P&L performance and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Oversee inventory controls, ordering, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and cost controls across all F&B outlets.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
  • Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are consistently met.
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service certifications.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
What You Bringh3>
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience
    , preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong experience overseeing banquet and event operations
    .
  • Proven ability to lead culinary and service teams.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and food costs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Hilton brand standards preferred.
  • Serv Safe and alcohol service certifications required or ability to obtain.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
