DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician who is dedicated to providing compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis center. You will have the opportunity to make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

• No dialysis experience is required.
• Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Potential to float to various clinics during and after your training.
• You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Direct patient care:
  Spend the majority of your day in one‑on‑one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Care for multiple patients each shift.
• Technician duties:
  Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis; record vitals and observations; set up the hemodialysis machine. You will be exposed to blood and needles.
• Build long‑term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis topics.
• Work in a cross‑functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of an RN.

• Desire to enter the health‑care field to care for people in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Comfortable mixing acid or bicarbonate.
• Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet; wear comfortable shoes.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
• Health‑care experience a plus: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or phlebotomy certification.
