Personal Attendant / Caregiver –
Allen, TX

The functions of a personal attendant / caregiver are to provide personal assistance to the clients in their home, help maintain a safe and clean environment, work closely with them and their family members, and report problems and observations directly to the supervisor.

• Education: High School or GED preferred.
• Licensure: Must have a driver’s license or reliable transportation in order to travel to the assigned location.
• Experience: At least 18 years old and must provide proof of education and/or experience to be able to accomplish the assigned tasks.
• Skills: Able to read and write in English and must be able to effectively follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
• Criminal History: Must consent to and pass a criminal history check and employee misconduct registry check.

  Working Conditions:
  
  Working in a client’s residence may involve exposure to body fluids, infectious diseases, and unpleasant weather. Must be capable of working flexible schedules and willing to travel locally.
• Physical and Mental Effort: Must stand and walk for long hours, work under stressful conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, move or transfer clients, and have hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to use medical equipment.
