Industrial Engineer

Overview

you will play a key role in developing warehouse and logistics processes and systems across all operational functions of the Distribution Center. A “Utility Player” – you are a well-rounded industrial engineer who utilizes various analytical tools and methodologies to improve efficiency/productivity for Epiroc. These tools include histograms, time studies, Kaizen events, and PFEP (Plan for every part) analysis. Skilled at value stream mapping, capacity planning, facility design, and layout optimization, you will use your project management skills and mathematical mindset to understand the current processes and procedures and will improve them.

• independently and be an innovator of new ways of working
• and ensure an efficient flow of operational functions, always keeping in mind the need for a safe working environment
• new processes to enable efficiency & effectiveness
• operational layouts to improve internal processes
• for new initiatives related to the distribution center including the evaluation of new investments, pre-studies, implementation and commissioning
• at the distribution center in new processes and routines
• and provide appropriate tools to measure business performance
• the activities of Warehouse Auditors, such that they support the responsibilities listed above

:

• in an industrial manufacturing environment
• and
• Excel skills including ability to perform V-lookups, and pivot table experience
• specifically geared toward continuous improvement opportunities
• to problem identification and resolution
• : educate others on newly implemented processes/ways of working
