In this position...- You’ll manage a large fleet of fuel economy test vehicles through their official testing to support US and Canada fuel economy labels.
- You’ll work with a diverse team of engineers and technologists to ensure that testing is completed on time and in compliance with all application regulations and policies.
- You will be called on to assist in resolution of vehicle or testing issues, and to report on the status of test programs.
You'll have...
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field or equivalent work experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, etc.)
- Proficiency in problem solving
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong integrity, teambuilding, and time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain the respect and trust of government agency employees
- Ability to effectively negotiate
- Knowledge of vehicle emissions control systems, engine calibrations, powertrains, and vehicle systems.
- 1+ year of experience.
- Familiarity with emissions/fuel economy regulations and test equipment and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...
- Plan and manage official fuel economy label testing in support of US/Canada fuel economy labeling
- Oversee aftertreatment system ordering and aging for fuel economy vehicles
- Ensure compliance with applicable emissions regulations, fuel economy regulations and other application reporting requirements
- Work with engineering and vehicle program teams to provide fuel economy regulatory guidance
- Work with vehicle teams to address vehicle and testing issues
