In this positionThe Ford Racing Body Interior Team is seeking an independent, empowered, and passionate Body Interior PMT Engineer to support engineering delivery of upcoming, cutting‑edge on‑and off‑road vehicle programs.
Responsibilities- Manage delivery of GPDS milestone deliverables across all Interior commodities.
- Lead the design, release, and delivery of Body Interior components and systems for Ford Racing Road Car Programs.
- Facilitate effective change management throughout design, development, and launch for Interior commodities.
- Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function, and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones.
- Work with Purchasing to source commodities.
- Lead FS (Full Service) and BTP (Build to Print) suppliers and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject programs.
- Assure conformance to the Ford Performance DNA and all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements.
- Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch phases.
- Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Body Engineering Organization.
- Support PMT lead and program team with overall program function Beginning from the prototype build and launch phases.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in Body Design & Release, including delivery of at least one completed program.
- Experience in a PMT/SET lead or engineer role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience utilizing CAD and/or other visualization tools.
- Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS.
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS, 3DX.
- Fabrication/mockup skills to demonstrate proof of concept.
- Independent self‑starter that can connect analytical tools with physical hardware and vehicle performance.
- Passion for performance vehicles.
- MSME/MBA preferred.
- Launch experience preferred.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to备注 of 4 or more days per week onsite.
