Immediate opening for a Formulation Mixing Tech in Aliso Viejo, CA who possess:

• 0-2 years of experience in a cleanroom environment
• Prior formulation experience is a plus
• Experience with medical device manufacturing is a plus

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleanroom Support
  
  Activities:
  
  Prepare product components (Part J, K, F, M, G, bulk, posterior, anterior) to support lens production in the cleanroom environment following established protocols and procedures.
• Produce silicone-based formulations using various materials preparation techniques and mixing protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Inventory and Paperwork
  
  Activities:
  
  Record and maintain detailed mixing process logs, including batch numbers, quantities, and production dates.
• Manage inventories for all materials, including raw materials, reagents, and consumables.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and quality control personnel to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Packing material mixing kit.
• Assist with thorough data acquisition, recording, and management.
• Employees may also be trained and asked to execute activities beyond this job description.

• High school diploma;
  Associate degree is desired.
• Preferably prior background/experience in a cleanroom environment and material
• Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident of the US (Green-card).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Salary Range: $26.00 to $28.00 /hour
