Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A​/Operations Finance

X Talent Solutions is supporting a well-established life sciences organization in Orange County with an upcoming consulting engagement. This role will provide hands-on support within the FP&A and operational finance function. There is potential for longer-term alignment depending on business needs and mutual interest.

This position follows a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite / 1 day remote) and is based in Aliso Viejo, CA.

• Provide FP&A support, including forecasting, reforecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Partner with Operations and adjacent teams to support analysis of cost drivers, margins, and operational performance
• Support cost-related financial analysis tied to inventory, margin, and operational activity
• Assist with components of the month-end close process
• Maintain and update financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Support process continuity and documentation as needed

• Experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related finance roles
• Experience collaborating with operations-focused teams such as manufacturing, services, supply chain, or regulated environments
• Understanding of cost drivers, margins, and financial performance
• Ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative environment
• Ability to support a hybrid onsite schedule in Aliso Viejo, CA
• Interest in a contract role with potential for longer-term opportunities

• Exposure to life sciences, medical device, manufacturing, or regulated industries
• Experience with financial planning, reporting, or analytics systems (e.g., Adaptive, Oracle, SAP, Net Suite, Power BI)
