Job Description
Support development of medical device products with work including writing or verifying specifications; designing new products and fixtures; testing processes and equipment; and specifying raw materials to ensure the concepts and/or prototypes meet their requirements.
- Develop new product concepts and products.
- Provide engineering design and process development.
- Generate intellectual property; write invention disclosures.
- Supervise Assemblers, Technicians, and Specialists.
- Largely self-directed and capable of meeting project goals with moderate supervision.
- Some travel required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and CAD (Solid Works or PRO/E proficiency required).
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific field.
- Design and development of medical devices.
- Ability to read and prepare technical documentation.
- Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, processes, and medical device manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of medical device and technical development.
- Working knowledge of materials used in the medical device industry.
- Experience from Engineering internship or rotation program preferred.
- One (1) year of Manufacturing experience preferred.

Salary Range: $75,937 - $99,667 (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand).
