Responsibilities Clinical Care & Assessment- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Monitor residents closely and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and advanced therapies, including IV therapy, TPN, and other complex treatments.
- Support emergency response and maintain clinical readiness during urgent situations.
- Lead and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s clinical and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory staff, and families to support coordinated care.
- Advocate for residents and ensure care decisions reflect the child’s best interests and well‑being.
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and Nurse Technicians to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for team members.
- Promote effective communication and teamwork across the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure care delivery meets pediatric safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
You will be fully accountable for delivering safe, developmentally appropriate, and compassionate pediatric care to the children entrusted to us.
Qualifications- Credentials as a Registered Nurse with a current state license (PA – Pennsylvania) in good standing for the state in which work is performed.
- Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
- Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or more advanced level.
