Job SummaryFull-Service Community School (FSCS) Strategy: A holistic approach to education that integrates academics with health and social services, youth and community development, and family engagement. FSCS’s operate as hubs of support, partnering with families, educators, and community organizations to remove barriers to learning and promote student success.
The Site Coordinator plays a central role in implementing the Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) model at their assigned school site. This position serves as the primary liaison between the school, families, and community partners to ensure integrated support services are aligned with student and family needs. The Site Coordinator facilitates collaborative planning, coordinates wraparound services, and fosters a welcoming school climate that promotes equity, academic achievement, and whole-child development.
Key Responsibilities Integrated Student Supports- Identify and coordinate academic support, enrichment opportunities, basic needs, and social services to address barriers to learning.
- Maintain referral systems and track service delivery in collaboration with school staff and community providers.
- Support the development and coordination of high-quality out-of-school time programs, including after-school and summer learning.
- Partner with educators and providers to align enrichment activities with student interests and academic goals.
- Build trusting relationships with families and caregivers to foster meaningful engagement in school life.
- Coordinate events, enrichment activities, learning and leadership opportunities for students, families, and the community.
- Facilitate regular meetings with school leadership, staff, and providers to align goals and monitor progress.
- Use data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in education, social work, public administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in youth development, education, or community engagement.
- Experience in coordinating youth, family, and community engagement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across diverse communities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel.
- Familiarity with Beaver County neighborhoods and community resources is a plus.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices.
- School and community based with evening hours required for out-of-school time programming, events and meetings.
- Travel between school sites and community provider locations may be required.
- Regular interaction with students, families, school staff, and community providers.
