Private Caregiver at All Seniors Foundation

The All Seniors Foundation is a non‑profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. We offer a variety of services, including in‑home care, to help seniors maintain their dignity and independence as they age. Our mission is to ensure every senior feels valued, supported, and cared for in a nurturing environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for compassionate and dependable Private Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital in‑home support to seniors, assisting with daily activities and promoting their safety, comfort, and overall well‑being. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, games, or other enriching activities.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques to ensure safety.
  • Monitor clients’ health and well‑being, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as required.
  • Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Qualifications
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy character.
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergencies.
  • Physical capability to assist with mobility, transfers, and light lifting.
  • Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer’s care techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, uplifting attitude.
Work Environment
  • Deliver one‑on‑one care in clients’ homes.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
