Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience)

This is an opportunity for a plumbing-led engineer to take ownership of projects, lead scopes confidently, and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing engineering team.
Role OverviewAs a Senior Plumbing Engineer / Project Manager
, you will lead plumbing design efforts from concept through construction while collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
You will serve as:
- The technical authority for plumbing systems
- A client-facing project leader
- A mentor to junior designers
- A key contributor to QA/QC and process improvement
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on design execution with leadership and coordination responsibilities

Plumbing Design Leadership - Lead the design and technical execution of domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas, and specialty plumbing systems from concept through construction.
Project Management - Manage plumbing scopes across all project phases while coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and client teams to ensure aligned, on-time delivery.
Documentation & Support - Oversee the preparation of coordinated construction documents and provide construction administration support to ensure code compliance and buildability.
Team Development & QC - Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal QA/QC processes to maintain high technical standards and continuous improvement.
Required Background- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of plumbing design experience within an MEP consulting environment.
- Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) license required or in progress.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for MEP design.
- Experience producing fully coordinated construction documents.
- Demonstrated project management experience with client-facing responsibility.
- Strong communication, organization, and cross-discipline collaboration skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or active path toward licensure required.
